Peter Sawatzky: Life in Bronze closely follows Manitoba artist Peter Sawatzky as he works on his latest larger than life bronze sculpture. Peter takes the viewer through every step of the complicated journey in creating a finished piece of artfrom the original concept and first small mock-ups, to the process of turning wax into bronzeand along the way we learn the path Peter took to become a sculptor. The show culminates in the unveiling of his dramatic new work of caribou crossing the Seal River.
